Dit is een extra optie op de hardware installatie. Wij verstrekken OEM licensies van Acronis: in dit geval ontvangt u een bootable CD met de OEM Acronis software, uw eigen unieke licentiesleutel en worden de backup images van uw bootpartitie op een aparte partitie of dataschijf opgeslagen. Recovery is tevens mogelijk vanop een network share binnen uw netwerk. Op deze manier kunt u op zeer korte termijn de exacte toestand van uw PC terugzetten naar de stand van uw images (afhankelijk van de omvang van uw image en snelheid van uw schijven en cpu, gewoonlijk 15 tot 30 minuten). U kan zelf op basis van de CD ook eigen images maken. Het is raadzaam in dit geval uw images op een andere locatie te backuppen voor het geval uw schijf crashed.

Warranty extension to 3 years pick-up & return on PC assembled by MPL: for PC bought for < 500 euro [P&R-3Y-500]

Garantie-uitbreiding naar 3 jaar P&R-garantie (= PC wordt volgende werkdag na melding bij u kosteloos afgehaald en nadien ook kosteloos terugbezorgd. Deze garantie-uitbreidingen kunnen enkel worden aangekocht op het moment dat de PC wordt aangekocht (en niet na 2 jaar ofzo). Voor een PC die aangekocht is voor minder dan 500 euro kost de garantie-uitbreding 80 euro. Zie volgende regels voor het tarief voor duurdere PC's.

When you bring us a PC (that is out of warranty or not bought at MPL) we first find out what the problem is and then we contact you to let you know what the price for the solution is (in working hours and possibly replacement parts). You decide then if we have to provide the solution or not. In case you don't want the solution, we only charge you 10 euro for the detection of the problem.
Wanneer je bij ons een PC (die buiten garantie is of niet bij MPL is aangekocht) binnenbrengt voor nazicht, dan wordt u na vaststelling van het probleem altijd eerst gecontacteerd met vermelding van de prijs voor de oplossing (in werkuren en de prijs voor vervangonderdelen indien nodig). Als u besluit om de herstelling niet te laten doorgaan, dan betaalt u ons slechts 10 euro voor de vaststelling van het probleem.

Indien u bij een PC geen besturingsssysteem bijbesteld wordt de PC afgeleverd met een lege geformatteerde hardisk en wordt de Bios ingesteld om bij installatie van uw besturingssysteem te booten vanaf CD-ROM. Indien u wil booten vanaf diskette, moet u dit dus eerst nog aanpassen in de bios.
